Entry-Level Operations Jobs in the UAE: How to Get Hired in 2026
You have little or no experience and you keep seeing "2 to 3 years required" on every operations job in the UAE. That wall is real, but it is smaller than it looks. Most of these roles want a reliable coordinator, not a decade of history.
Here is what the market actually shows right now, and how to get past the screening stage in 2026.
What the UAE operations market looks like right now#
As of 14 October 2026, JobRise's live feed shows 34 open operations listings in the United Arab Emirates. Of those, 21 were posted in the last 30 days, and 14 in the last 7 days. So roughly two thirds of the slice is fresh, which means speed matters more than usual.
This is a snapshot of open listings, not a market survey. Treat it as a signal of where to look, not as a promise.
Location is lopsided. Dubai holds 33 of the 34 listings, Sharjah holds 1. If you can work in Dubai without relocation help, you have almost the entire slice open to you.
All 34 are full-time. There are no part-time or contract listings in this slice, and no listing shows a salary at all. For pay expectations, ask in the interview and check the current official UAE sources for anything about minimums or end-of-service rules. Do not rely on a blog number.
Companies with the most open listings include Delivery Hero (5), Fuku (5), MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C (3), Chain Reaction (2), Meraki Integrated Contracting LLC (2), White Spot Facilities Management Services LLC (2), AHS (2), and Rentokil Initial (2). THA by ARMONIA and Kayali show 1 each. Some of these are recruiters or staffing firms, so a single application can reach more than one employer.

How many roles actually look entry-level#
Here is the blunt part. Only 1 of the 34 open listings carries an entry-level-looking title, and it is "Junior Project Manager (GEORGIAN language + ENG)" at MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C.
One listing with "junior" in the title does not mean one role is open to beginners. Plenty of coordinator and agent roles hire people with thin backgrounds. But it does mean you cannot filter your search by the word "junior" and expect to find much. You have to read the actual job.
Junior titles worth reading closely#
Look at the titles that sit closest to the ground floor. "Customer Service Advisor - instashop" at Delivery Hero, "Agent Registration & Channel Partner Coordinator" at THA by ARMONIA, and "Coordinator Fraud Analyst - instashop" at Delivery Hero all sit in coordinator and advisor territory.
"Receptionist" at Meraki Integrated Contracting LLC is a classic entry point into facilities and contracting admin. "ELV Technician" at White Spot Facilities Management Services LLC is a hands-on technical route rather than an office one. "Salon Technician" at MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C and "Videographer" at Chain Reaction are trade and creative paths that can lead into operations later.
"Influencer & Collaborations Assistant Manager" at Kayali is the odd one out, since "assistant manager" usually implies prior work. Read it anyway. Titles in the UAE are inconsistent, and one employer's assistant manager is another's coordinator.
The skills employers here actually want#
Operations in Dubai comes down to a short list. Someone who keeps records straight, chases people politely, and does not drop tasks.
- Excel or Google Sheets: filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, clean formatting
- Written English for email and ticket notes, plus Arabic if you have it
- A task tracker like Asana, Trello, Monday, or Notion
- Basic data hygiene: consistent dates, named files, version control
- Customer handling over phone, chat, or email
- Timekeeping and shift awareness for site or retail roles
- Familiarity with the sector you are applying to: food delivery, facilities, contracting, beauty, or events
- A valid UAE residence visa and your own transport for site roles, if applicable
Notice that none of these require a degree in anything specific. They require proof you have done the thing.
Proof beats promises#
When you have no job history, projects count. Set up a small system and screenshot it.
Good proof includes a Google Sheet that tracks a real process you ran, such as a family event, a volunteer drive, or a small online store's orders. Add a short write-up: what was broken, what you changed, what got faster. Certifications help too, and Google's Project Management or Data Analytics certificates are widely recognised, though they are not required.
A rewritten zero-experience resume bullet#
Say you helped at a friend's retail stall. Do not write:
"Helped with daily tasks and customer service at retail store."
Write it like this:
"Ran the weekend stock sheet for a pop-up retail stall, tracking 40+ SKUs across 3 suppliers in Google Sheets, cutting end-of-day count errors to zero over 6 weeks, and handing over a clean reorder list to the owner every Monday morning."
The second version names the tool, the volume, the fix, and the handover. That is what an operations manager is scanning for.
Where entry-level openings get posted#
The 34 listings in this snapshot come from JobRise's live feed. Beyond that, check company career pages directly, especially for the larger employers in the slice, since some roles appear there before they hit job boards.
Recruiters and staffing firms are worth registering with. In this snapshot, several of the busiest names are recruiters rather than end employers, so one registration can put you in front of multiple sites. Keep your CV short and your availability date clear.
A 7-step plan#
- Pick one sector from the live listings and stop scattering. Food delivery, facilities, contracting, and beauty each want slightly different vocabulary.
- Build one clean CV using a free resume builder so formatting is not a reason to get filtered out.
- Rewrite every bullet with a tool, a number, and an outcome. Even small numbers count.
- Gather proof: two screenshots of a spreadsheet or tracker you built, plus a three-line write-up of the problem you solved.
- Apply within 48 hours of a listing going up. In this snapshot, 14 of 34 listings landed in the last week, so late applications go to a full inbox.
- Track applications in your own sheet: company, role, date, contact, next step. Treat the search like an operations job, because it is one.
- Prepare a two-minute story about a time you kept something organized under pressure. Interviewers in this space ask it constantly.

FAQ#
Do I need a degree to get into operations in the UAE?
Most coordinator and advisor roles in this slice list skills and reliability over a specific degree. A degree can help with visa processing for some employers, so check what each role asks for.
How long does hiring usually take?
It varies widely by employer and role. Some site and retail roles move in a week, while corporate coordinator roles can take a month of screening and interviews.
Should I apply to roles asking for 2 to 3 years of experience?
Yes, if you can show proof of the core tasks. Many employers inflate the years requirement, and a strong project portfolio can offset missing tenure.
Is Arabic required for these jobs?
English is the working language for most listings in this slice. Arabic is a real advantage for customer-facing and site roles, but it is rarely listed as mandatory.
What salary should I expect?
No listing in this snapshot shows a salary, so I will not invent one. Ask for the range early, compare against current official UAE sources and live listings, and remember that offers vary by sector and visa status.
