Common galtiyan freshers ki#

1. Form 16 ka data manually enter karna:

  • Use pre-fill option, automatic data fetch hota hai
  • Galat numbers enter karne ka risk kam

2. HRA exemption miss karna:

  • Calculation: minimum of (HRA received, 50% of basic for metro/40% non-metro, rent paid - 10% basic)

3. 80C limit confusion:

  • PF amount already 80C mein count hota hai
  • Extra ₹1.5 lakh limit nahi hai, total limit ₹1.5 lakh hai

4. Bank interest report nahi karna:

  • Savings account interest > ₹10,000 taxable hai
  • Bank Form 26AS mein report karta hai
  • Hide nahi kar sakte

5. Form 26AS mismatch:

  • ITR data Form 26AS se match karna chahiye
  • Mismatch hua to notice aa sakta hai
  • Always cross-verify

6. Refund delay:

  • Bank account pre-validate karo
  • IFSC sahi hona chahiye
  • 60+ din wait karo, then portal pe "Refund Status" check
