Marketing Jobs in the UK: Who's Hiring Right Now (Oct 2026)
You want to know which UK employers are actually hiring for marketing roles right now, and you want names, not vague market talk. Here is a dated snapshot from the JobRise live jobs feed (jobrise.io), taken on 14 October 2026, counting open listings rather than running a market survey. The full set of UK marketing roles sits in our marketing jobs hub, which showed 203 open listings on that date.
Of those 203 listings, 175 went up in the last 30 days and 101 in the last 7 days. That pace tells you the market is moving, and that a vacancy you saw last month may already be gone.
Who has the most open marketing listings#
Ten employers dominate the feed. Some are companies hiring directly, and some are recruiters or staffing firms placing people elsewhere, so read the listing carefully before you apply.
- Allwyn UK: 8 open listings
- Costello Medical: 8
- Spotify: 6
- Amazon TA: 5
- Future Publishing: 4
- Zachary Daniels: 4
- VANRATH: 4
- Stripe: 4
- Interpath Advisory: 3
- Debenhams Group: 3
Allwyn UK and Costello Medical lead the pack with 8 listings each. Spotify and Amazon TA show big tech is still hiring, while Stripe adds fintech to that side of the picture. Zachary Daniels and VANRATH are recruiters, which usually means they are filling roles for unnamed clients, so ask who the end employer is early in the process.

The roles being filled#
The listings cover a wide spread of marketing work. Some examples as posted:
- "Digital Marketing Executive" at Saga Insurance
- "Regional Vice President, Enterprise, Growth, UKI" at Mongodb
- "Influencer Marketing Manager" at Skin + Me
- "Events & Content Director" at Infopro Digital Services Limited
- "Product and Content Marketing Co-ordinator - London" at Suade
- "Head of Marketing - London" at Royal Lancaster London Hotel
- "Social First Videographer" at MAGIC
- "Marketing Manager" at Dale Farm Ltd
Notice the range. You have senior commercial leadership at Mongodb, hands-on content and video work at MAGIC and Suade, brand and influencer work at Skin + Me, and a classic all-rounder marketing manager post at Dale Farm Ltd. If your background is content, events, or social, there are live roles to target this week.
Where the jobs are#
London is the centre of gravity, with 75 listings. Belfast comes next with 14, then Manchester with 7, Bristol with 4, and Glasgow with 3. The rest sit across other UK locations.
Belfast is the one to watch. VANRATH, a Northern Ireland recruiter, has 4 open listings, and the city's count is second only to London. If you are based there or open to relocating, you face far less competition than in the capital.
Job types: mostly permanent#
The mix is heavily weighted to permanent roles: 194 full-time listings, 8 contract, and 1 temporary. That is roughly 96 percent full-time. Employers are committing to headcount rather than hedging with short-term cover.
For you, this means two things. Contract candidates have few options in this slice, so widen your search or consider permanent roles. Permanent candidates should negotiate on the assumption that the employer wants a long-term hire, which gives you room to talk about development and progression.
What the mix says about the market#
Four kinds of employer show up here. Big tech and fintech are present through Spotify, Amazon TA, and Stripe. Startups and scale-ups appear through Skin + Me and Suade. Agencies and recruiters are represented by Zachary Daniels, VANRATH, and Interpath Advisory. Public sector and not-for-profit roles appear too, with Metropolitan Thames Valley and Share Bristol among the listings.
The pattern is a market where large employers run steady pipelines and smaller firms post specific, well-defined roles. Big tech rarely lists junior marketing posts, and the entry-level numbers back that up: only 4 of 203 listings look like intern, graduate, junior, or trainee roles. Two examples as posted: "Graduate Associate, National Markets" at Interpath Advisory, and "Paid, Earned, Managed and Owned Channels (PEMO) Graduate - 18 Month Program" at Red Bull. If you are early in your career, treat those four as high priority and apply fast.
What the listings pay#
Only 86 of the 203 listings show a salary, so most employers keep pay private until later in the process. Where pay is posted, here are the figures as shown:
- "Head of Marketing - London" at Royal Lancaster London Hotel: £46K-46K
- "Marketing Manager" at Shine Group: £35K-35K
- "Marketing Research Specialist" at Larbey Evans Ltd: £54K-54K
- "Marketing Executive" at Metropolitan Thames Valley: £35K-35K
- "Marketing Manager" at Salisbury BID: £33K-33K
- "Marketing Coordinator" at Share Bristol: £35K-35K
These are single-figure bands as posted, so the employer has one number in mind. Pay varies by city, sector, and seniority, so check the current official source for anything like the National Living Wage or industry pay data before you anchor your expectations.
How to apply this week#
Apply direct where you can. If the listing names the employer, go to their careers page and apply there as well as through the job board, because direct applications often reach the hiring manager faster. If a recruiter like Zachary Daniels or VANRATH posted the role, ask them early which company the role is for and what the salary range is.
Mirror the listing keywords in your CV and application. If the advert says "influencer marketing", "content", or "events", use those exact words in your CV where they honestly describe your work. Many employers filter applications with software before a human reads them, so run your CV through our free ATS checker before you send it.
Keep a simple tracker. Note the employer, the job title as posted, the date you applied, the contact name, and the follow-up date. Follow up once after 5 to 7 working days, then move on if you hear nothing.
A 7-step plan#
- Pick 10 target roles from the snapshot. Start with the named examples above and the employers with 4 or more listings.
- Tailor your CV to each advert. Mirror the keywords from the listing and put your most relevant work near the top.
- Check your CV passes software filters. Run it through our free ATS checker before you send anything.
- Apply direct and through the board. Do both where the employer is named, and note the date you applied.
- Contact recruiters on your list. Ask VANRATH or Zachary Daniels who the end employer is and what the salary range is.
- Prepare two short stories. One about a campaign you ran, one about a problem you fixed, each with a number attached.
- Follow up once, then move on. Keep applying to new listings while you wait.

FAQ#
How often should I check for new marketing roles?
The snapshot showed 101 new listings in the last 7 days, so checking every two to three days keeps you close to the front of the queue. Set aside a fixed slot so the search does not eat your whole week.
Should I apply through a recruiter or direct?
Do both where you can. Recruiters reach roles that never get advertised, but applying direct gives you a clear line to the employer and lets you control what is said about you.
Are the salaries on listings reliable?
They are what the employer posted, and only 86 of 203 listings showed pay in this snapshot. Treat them as a guide, and verify pay ranges with the current official source before you negotiate.
I am a graduate. What are my chances in this slice?
Only 4 of 203 listings looked like intern, graduate, junior, or trainee roles, so the odds are tight. Target those four first, and widen your search to adjacent roles like marketing assistant or coordinator.
Does location matter that much?
Yes. London had 75 listings and Belfast 14, while other cities had fewer than 10 each. If you can work in either of the two biggest hubs, you have more options than candidates who can only apply locally.
