When an alert fires

Module 1 : What AI already does on the floor

Plan du cours

Cette leçon n'est pas encore dans votre langue, la voici donc en anglais.

Petit test

Guess first, no penalty. An alert you don't recognize flashes on a machine in your zone. What comes first?

Alerts, scores and warnings are built from sensors and scans. They're right a lot of the time, which is why the wrong moments catch people out. This course gives no safety advice of its own. It points you to the rules your site and your regulator set.

One example of why the rules matter: OSHA's page on lockout/tagout (locking a machine's power off before servicing it) says the "unexpected startup or release of stored energy can result in serious injury or death to workers". Among its examples: a jammed conveyor that suddenly released, crushing a worker clearing the jam.
