Finance Salary and Job Market in Singapore 2026
You are weighing a finance move in Singapore and want to know what the market actually pays before you sign anything. The honest answer starts with the listings themselves, and the listings are unusually quiet about money. As of 14 October 2026, the finance jobs hub on JobRise shows 118 open finance listings in Singapore, with 43 posted in the last 30 days and 19 in the last 7.
What the listings show#
Those 118 listings are a count of live openings on one job board, not a market survey. Treat them as a dated snapshot of what is being advertised right now, not as a measure of total hiring in the country.
The hiring side is concentrated. Fuku shows 92 of the open listings, which usually means it is a recruiter or staffing firm advertising on behalf of clients rather than one company hiring 92 finance staff. Infosys Singapore & Australia shows 9, Anthropic 4, Axiom 3, Stripe 2, and Rolling Arrays - Consulting, LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore, Delivery Hero, Cloudflare and Robinhood show 1 each.
By type, 116 listings are full-time and 2 are contract. Titles range widely: "Workday Finance - Project Manager" at Rolling Arrays - Consulting, "Financial Product Manager" at Fuku, "Assistant HR Manager Payroll & HR Operations" at Fuku, and "Chief Operating Officer / Executive Director" at Fuku. Some advertised roles sit at the edge of finance, like "Quantity Surveyormain con)" or "PurchaserConstruction/ACMV/Electrical", so filter by title before you compare pay.
Entry-level openings are scarce in this slice. Only 1 of 118 listings looks graduate or junior level, and it is "Graduate Analyst - FSI" at Infosys Singapore & Australia. If you are early career, expect more competition per opening and plan to apply wider.

The salary data problem#
No listing in this finance slice shows a salary. Zero out of 118. That is the single most useful thing to know before you benchmark yourself, because it means the advertised market gives you no anchor and the first number spoken in a process will usually come from the employer.
For wider context, the JobRise Hiring Report for Singapore shows 760 open listings across all categories and 386 posted in the last 30 days. Finance's 118 openings are a meaningful slice of that, but the report still cannot tell you what those roles pay.
Typical reported ranges, hedged#
Because the listings show nothing, you have to work from generally reported ranges for Singapore finance roles, and these vary a lot by firm type, licence, and function. Treat the figures below as rough orientation only. Verify current pay against official sources such as the Ministry of Manpower's published wage data and current job postings before you anchor to any number.
Analyst and associate level roles in banks, asset managers and fintechs are commonly reported in the ballpark of SGD 4,000 to 7,000 in fixed monthly salary, with total cash higher once bonus is added. Finance managers and senior analysts are often reported around SGD 7,000 to 11,000 monthly fixed. AVP and VP level corporate finance, treasury or product roles tend to be reported in the SGD 10,000 to 18,000 range, and director or head of function roles can go well beyond that, sometimes reported above SGD 20,000 monthly fixed in banking or licensed fund management.
Contract day rates for finance project and systems roles, for example a Workday finance implementation post like the Rolling Arrays - Consulting role, are often reported in the SGD 400 to 900 per day range depending on scope. Those rates move quickly and are negotiable.
These bands are not promises. A Big Four advisory role, a family office, a payments company like Stripe or Robinhood, and a bank will each price the same job title differently.
How Singapore pay packages are built#
Fixed monthly salary is only part of the number. Ask for the breakdown, not just the headline.
Most employers pay CPF on top of salary for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, capped at the Ordinary Wage ceiling set by CPF Board. Foreign nationals on Employment Pass do not receive CPF, so their cash salary usually needs to be higher to compete, and the employer must meet the current EP qualifying salary set by MOM. Check the MOM and CPF Board websites for the figures in force when you negotiate.
Annual Wage Supplement, the 13th month payment, is common in banks, MNCs and statutory boards but is contractual in some firms and discretionary in others. Variable bonus is standard in finance and can range from one month to well over twelve months in strong years at investment banks, while shared services and operations roles often see one to three months.
Equity or share awards appear at listed firms and tech-adjacent employers such as Anthropic, Stripe, Cloudflare and Robinhood, but vesting schedules and refresh grants vary widely. Get the vesting dates and the strike or grant value in writing.
Some employers quote a "CTC" or cost to company number that bundles CPF, insurance and bonus assumptions into one figure. Ask them to split it into fixed monthly, guaranteed bonus, target bonus, CPF, and benefits. Compare fixed to fixed, not CTC to CTC.
Negotiating the offer#
Start before the offer, by knowing your walk-away number and your target fixed monthly. When the recruiter asks for expectations, give a range anchored to your research and say you are open on the total package structure.
Ask what the role pays, in their bands. Say this: "I'm keen on the role. What's the budgeted fixed monthly range for this position, and how is bonus typically structured?" Silence after that question is fine. Let them answer first.
Once you have an offer, negotiate the fixed salary first, then the sign-on, then the title and start date. A sign-on payment is often easier for an employer to approve than a higher base, because it does not compound into future raises.
If the gap is small, trade on non-cash items: an extra week of leave, a review at six months instead of twelve, a training budget, or flexible working days. If the gap is large, say so plainly and ask what would close it.
Practice the exact numbers before the call. Our salary negotiation tool helps you script the counter and stress-test your walk-away point so you do not improvise under pressure.
What to do this week#
- Read the live finance listings and note which titles match your background, not just which companies sound prestigious.
- Build three numbers: walk-away fixed monthly, target fixed monthly, and stretch.
- Check the current CPF contribution rates and Ordinary Wage ceiling on the CPF Board site, and the current EP qualifying salary on the MOM site.
- Ask every recruiter for the fixed monthly range and bonus structure before you invest in a full interview loop.
- For each offer, write down fixed monthly, AWS, target bonus, CPF or benefits, equity vesting, and sign-on, and compare like for like.
- Talk to people already in the role type you want, because advertised pay is only one input.

FAQ#
Are these finance salary figures official?
No. They are generally reported ranges and they vary by employer, licence and seniority. Always verify against current official wage data and live postings before you anchor to any figure.
Why do none of the listings show pay?
Employers in Singapore often withhold salary ranges to keep negotiating room, especially in finance. That is exactly why you should ask for the budgeted range early, before you spend time in interviews.
Is Fuku hiring 92 finance people?
The snapshot shows Fuku with 92 open finance listings on JobRise, which usually signals a recruiter advertising for multiple clients. Treat it as a source of many applications, not one employer with 92 seats.
Should I compare CTC offers directly?
No, because CTC can bundle CPF, insurance and bonus assumptions differently across firms. Ask for the split and compare fixed monthly to fixed monthly, then compare guaranteed and target variable pay separately.
How much bonus is normal in Singapore finance?
It varies widely by function and firm. Operations and shared services roles often see one to three months, while front office and licensed investment roles can see considerably more in good years, so ask what the last two years actually paid out.
