A chat tool writes numbers the way it writes words, by predicting what usually comes next. Unless it runs a real calculation, a percentage can be wrong and still read perfectly. Period labels slip too: September turns into "Q3" (July to September) because reports say Q3 a lot.
So recompute every percentage, total and period label from the source. A variance is the gap between the budget (the plan) and the actual (what happened).
