Guess first, no penalty. In the World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs Report 2025, where do "Administrative Assistants and Executive Secretaries" sit?
- Expectations: in the Future of Jobs Report 2025, over 1,000 employers expect this role to be among the fastest declining by 2030.
- Exposure: the ILO's global index says "clerical occupations continue to have the highest exposure levels", and also that "transformation of jobs is the most likely impact".
- What's happened so far: in a 2026 New York Fed survey, "only 4 percent of service firms reported laying off workers in response to AI over the past six months" (Liberty Street Economics).
