Guess first, no penalty. The system says your truck arrives at 12:15. The customer's dock closes for lunch from 12 to 1. What does the arrival estimate leave out?
An arrival estimate, or ETA (estimated time of arrival), comes from distance, traffic and speed. It doesn't know when a dock is closed, how long unloading takes, or that the customer is out. So check those before you promise a time.
Fix the update that promised too much
A dispatcher's notes: order 8830, window was 8 to 10 am, truck stuck behind an accident, now about 11:30 to 12:30. Customer's dock closes for lunch 12 to 1.

AI draft
Good news! Your delivery will arrive at 11:45 am sharp. Our driver will call you 10 minutes before arrival. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Three fixes: a delay isn't "good news", an exact minute is a guess, and nobody agreed that the driver would call, which they may not be able to do safely. The fixed version also deals with the lunch closure instead of ignoring it.
