Prueba rápida
Guess first, no penalty. You need a worksheet for a mixed-ability class next week. Which prompt (the message you send the AI) gets you something you can use quickly?
A prompt is the message you send to the AI. A vague prompt gets a vague worksheet, and you spend the saved time fixing it.
Four parts make materials usable on the first try:
- Topic: exactly what's covered, like "adding fractions with the same denominator (bottom number)", not "fractions".
- Level: the age, grade or course, and anything about your learners that matters.
- Format: how many questions, what type, and an answer key (the list of correct answers).
- Limits: what the AI must not do, like adding facts you didn't give it.
The limits line is the one most people forget. It stops the AI from filling space with things you'll have to check.
Worked example
Write 5 multiple-choice questions on the water cycle for grade 6 learners
(11 to 12 year olds). Each question has 4 options and one correct answer.
Mark the correct answer and add a one-sentence explanation.
Cover only: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, collection.
Use short sentences. Don't add facts beyond these four terms.
Topic, level, format and limits, in five short lines.
