- Ambient scribe: a tool that listens to a conversation and drafts the note.
- Handover summary: a draft for the next shift (a handover is passing care on).
- Plain-language handouts: an AI chat tool rewrites instructions a family can follow.
- Rosters: scheduling software suggests the staff schedule.
- Early-warning alerts: the EHR (electronic health record, the digital chart) flags changing readings.
