Guess first, no penalty. An AI reorder tool suggests ordering 900 cases of hand soap. Your stock count says 1,200. What should you check first?

Bad data in, bad plans out. An AI tool plans from whatever is in your system, and it won't notice that the numbers don't make sense together.

Two problems do a lot of the damage:

Wrong units: cases counted as single items, kilograms read as pounds.
Duplicate SKUs: a SKU (stock keeping unit) is the code for one product. If the same product has two codes, its stock gets split, both look low, and you order twice.
