Refund policy

JobRise has been free for everyone since May 2026. There is nothing to buy, so there is nothing new to refund. This policy covers purchases made before that date.

The short version

No refunds for paid tools that worked as promised. If a paid tool broke and we couldn't fix it, you got a free retry or credit. Simple.

1. Legacy one-time purchases

This applies to older purchases like the full AI ATS report, cover letter, and cold email packs.

  • Tool worked correctly? No refund. The AI generated your report, letter, or email as promised.
  • Tool failed or gave an error? Email us and we'll sort out a free retry.
  • Payment went through but no result? Email [email protected] with your payment ID and we'll deliver the result or make it right.

2. Legacy plans and bundles

  • Used the tools? No refund. You received the service.
  • Tools were down or broken? We extended affected plans by the number of days affected, free of charge.
  • Want to cancel a legacy plan? Cancel anytime from the billing page. No future charges. Access continues until the current period ends.

3. What counts as broken

  • The tool returned an error instead of results.
  • Payment was charged but no result was delivered.
  • The AI returned obviously wrong or empty output.

What does not count as broken:

  • "The cover letter isn't perfect" or "I wanted different suggestions." AI output varies and may need editing.
  • "I didn't get the job." We improve your application materials, not guarantee employment.
  • "I changed my mind after seeing the results."

4. How to request help

  1. Email [email protected] with your payment ID or registered email.
  2. Describe what went wrong.
  3. We respond within 24 hours, usually faster.

5. Razorpay payments

Legacy payments were processed by Razorpay. In the rare case a refund is approved, it goes back to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days (Razorpay's processing time, not ours).

6. Our promise

We are a small team building free tools for job seekers. If something you paid for before the pivot genuinely broke, we will make it right. Every time.
