Sales Executive Jobs in Dubai 2026
You are applying for Sales Executive jobs in Dubai and getting silence, form rejections, or offers that look nothing like the ad. The market in 2026 is busy but noisy, and most applications die before a human reads them. Here is what is actually happening on the ground, and how to work it.
Where Dubai is hiring sales people in 2026#
Real estate is still the loudest employer, but it is also the most volatile. Brokerage roles are commission-heavy, often with a modest base, and turnover is high. If you have no UAE network, treat real estate as a last resort rather than a first move.
The steadier demand sits in B2B sectors: logistics and freight, industrial supplies, IT and software, medical equipment, facilities management, building materials, and corporate banking. These companies want people who can run a pipeline, write a decent proposal, and hold a conversation with a procurement manager. That is a different job from selling apartments to walk-in leads.
Consumer goods, automotive, and luxury retail hire consistently too, but the pay structure leans on incentives and the hours are less predictable. Hospitality sales (events, corporate accounts, F&B) is another steady lane if you can handle month-end pressure.

Where jobs actually get posted#
LinkedIn is the main channel for anything above entry level. Recruiters search it daily, so your headline and location field matter more than most people expect. Set your headline to the role you want, for example "Sales Executive | B2B Logistics | Open to Dubai roles".
Local job boards carry volume, and the big UAE platforms are where many mid-market companies post first. Company career pages are underused and often move faster than job boards. Recruitment agencies handle a lot of B2B and enterprise sales hiring, so registering with three or four that specialise in your sector is worth the hour it takes.
Before you apply anywhere, run the job description through a free job description decoder to see what the role really requires. Then check your CV against our free ATS checker so formatting issues are not what gets you filtered out. You can also browse current openings on our jobs page to see what language employers are using this month.
What the hiring process looks like#
Most processes run four to six weeks, longer for enterprise or regional roles. The common sequence: recruiter screen, hiring manager interview, a commercial case or territory plan exercise, then a final round with a director or the GM. Some companies add psychometric tests or a role-play cold call.
A few things catch candidates off guard. Notice periods matter a lot: UAE employers often want people in-country and available within 30 days. References are checked seriously, usually two direct managers. And many offers are conditional on visa and medical clearance, which adds two to three weeks after you sign.
If you are applying from abroad, expect more skepticism. Be ready to explain why Dubai, when you can arrive, and whether you have savings to cover the first month or two.
Salary ranges, hedged properly#
Numbers below are typical reported ranges for 2025 into 2026 and vary by industry, company size, and how much of the package is commission. Always verify current figures against official UAE sources and live job postings before you negotiate.
- Entry-level Sales Executive (B2B, small firm): roughly AED 4,000 to 7,000 monthly base
- Mid-level Sales Executive (2 to 5 years, established firm): roughly AED 8,000 to 14,000 monthly base
- Senior or enterprise Sales Executive: roughly AED 15,000 to 25,000 monthly base
- Real estate broker: often AED 3,000 to 6,000 base plus commission, with total earnings varying widely
Commission structures matter more than the headline number. Ask what percentage of reps hit target in the last two quarters. If the hiring manager dodges that question, treat the OTE figure as marketing.
Cost of living, the honest version#
Rent is the biggest line item. A one-bedroom apartment in a central area can run from roughly AED 5,000 to 9,000 a month, cheaper in outer areas, much higher in prime towers. Shared accommodation is common and cuts that significantly.
Other monthly costs to budget for: groceries AED 1,200 to 2,000, transport AED 500 to 1,500 depending on car ownership, mobile and internet AED 300 to 500, and health insurance, which your employer must provide under UAE law but coverage varies. There is no personal income tax on salary in the UAE, but check the current official position on any new levies before you plan.
Do the maths before you sign. A AED 8,000 base with no commission is a tight month in a central apartment. A AED 6,000 base plus genuine commission upside can work out better if the product actually sells.
A worked example: rewriting a CV bullet#
Most sales CVs say what the person was responsible for. Hiring managers want to know what moved.
Before: "Responsible for managing client accounts and achieving sales targets in the GCC region."
After: "Grew GCC account revenue from USD 420K to USD 780K in 18 months by opening 11 new logistics accounts and restructuring the renewal process for existing clients."
Same job, different evidence. The second version names the market, the timeframe, and the mechanism. Do this for every role on your CV and your callback rate will change.
The 7-step application plan#
- Pick two target sectors and write them down; chasing every industry makes your CV generic and your interviews shallow
- Rebuild your CV around numbers: revenue, accounts opened, quota percentage, deal size, and cycle length
- Fix your LinkedIn headline and location field so recruiters searching for Dubai sales talent can find you
- Shortlist 20 target companies and find the hiring manager or sales director for each, not just the HR inbox
- Apply in focused batches of five per day, tailoring the top third of your CV to each job description
- Prepare one territory plan and one commercial case study you can reuse across interviews
- Track everything in a spreadsheet: company, contact, date applied, stage, follow-up date, outcome
Follow up seven days after applying with a short note that adds something new, a relevant win, a market observation, or a question about their sales cycle. Silence usually means busy, not rejected.
Interview scripts that work#
For "why Dubai": "I want to work in a market where B2B sales cycles are relationship-driven and where I can build a regional pipeline. I have savings to cover my first two months and I can be in-country within four weeks."
For "tell me about your number": "My quota last year was AED 1.2 million and I closed 108 percent. My average deal was AED 65,000 with a 45-day cycle, and about 40 percent of my pipeline came from referrals rather than inbound leads."
Both answers are specific, verifiable, and easy to expand on. Rehearse until they sound like you, not like a script.
Common mistakes to avoid#
Do not apply to 200 jobs with the same CV. Do not accept a commission plan you cannot model. Do not move without understanding the visa timeline and who pays for it. And do not treat the first offer as the only offer: in Dubai, patience during negotiation is normal and expected.

FAQ#
Do I need to be in Dubai to get hired as a Sales Executive?
Not always, but being in-country speeds things up a lot. Many B2B employers prefer candidates who can start within 30 days and attend interviews in person. If you are applying from abroad, state your arrival timeline clearly in your CV and first message.
What visa do Sales Executives typically get?
Most hires come through an employer-sponsored employment visa tied to the company. Some firms also use the green visa or freelance permits for certain roles, and rules change, so confirm the current requirements on official UAE government sources before making plans.
Is commission a reliable part of the pay?
It depends entirely on the company, product, and territory. Ask what percentage of the sales team hit target in the last two quarters and what the average commission cheque looked like. If you cannot get a straight answer, budget as if the base is your whole salary.
Do I need Arabic to work in sales in Dubai?
For most B2B roles, English is enough, and many sales teams operate fully in English. Arabic helps in government, banking, and some local enterprise accounts, and it can widen your options. It is an advantage, not a requirement.
How long does it usually take to land a role?
Four to eight weeks is realistic for candidates already in-country with a focused search. Candidates applying from abroad often need longer, sometimes three to six months. The 7-step plan above is designed to shorten that window by keeping your applications targeted and your follow-ups consistent.
