Write alt text that helps

Module 2: Do your job better with AI

Course outline

Quick check

Guess first, no penalty. AI writes alt text for a photo on a hospital's careers page: "Image of a woman smiling at a laptop." What's wrong with it?

It's too shortIt describes the pixels, not why the image is there. A screen reader user learns nothing about the jobIt should say "photo" instead of "image"
