Catch invented numbers and fake proof

Module 1 : What AI already does in marketing

Plan du cours

Cette leçon n'est pas encore dans votre langue, la voici donc en anglais.

Petit test

Guess first, no penalty. An AI draft says your bike shop is "trusted by 10,000 riders". You never gave it that number. Where did it come from?

Ads are full of numbers, quotes and promises, so a tool that writes like an ad fills gaps in your brief with lines that look like proof.

In the US, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) says "claims in advertisements must be truthful, cannot be deceptive or unfair, and must be evidence-based" (FTC). That holds whoever wrote the ad.

Spot the invented lines

The bike shop's brief gave only the offer and the review score.

Trouvez les erreurs

Tap the three lines the AI made up. Tap a line that's fine and you get a hint.

Make the tool list its own claims

A prompt is the message you type into the tool. This one makes it show you what needs proof:

List every number, quote and promise in this draft.
Put each one on its own line, with the brief line it came from.
If it didn't come from the brief, write "not in brief".

Complétez les trous

Fill the gaps so the tool points at its own guesses.

Prompt

List every in this draft. Put each one on its own line, with . If it didn't come from the brief, write .
