Petit test
Guess first, no penalty. Your notes don't say who runs next week's go-live (the day the new system switches on). You ask AI for a status report. What does it usually do?
A chat tool is built to give you a finished-looking answer. When your notes have a gap, it fills it: a name from another part of the notes, a date one week out, a decision that sounds sensible. The draft looks complete, so the gap is now hidden.
One line in your prompt changes that. Ask for a placeholder (a marker that holds the spot) instead of a guess: "If a date, owner or decision isn't in my notes, write [missing]." Now the gaps are visible, and your check starts with a search for "[missing]".

Progress
- Staff at all four sites finished scanner training.
- Sites 1 and 2 are live on the new picking flow.
Risks
- Site 3 has no confirmed delivery date for its scanners. [missing]
Next week
- Go live at site 3. Owner: [missing]
Decisions needed
