Petit test
Guess first, no penalty. You need 10 social image variants from one banner. Which prompt (the message you send the AI) gets usable work first time?
A brief is the short description of what you need. A brief for AI works like a brief for a junior designer, with one difference: AI won't ask questions. Whatever you leave out, it guesses.
Four parts make a brief AI can use:
- Input: the master design or the reference images.
- Locked: what must not change, like logo position, brand colors and fonts.
- Free: what it may change, like the background or the photo.
- Output: sizes, file type and how many.
Add one more line: "Label any placeholder text." Placeholder copy (sample text) that looks real is how fake words end up in a live ad.
Worked example
Create 10 social image variants from this sale banner.
Locked: logo top left, brand colors #1D4ED8 and #FFFFFF, font Inter.
Free: background pattern and product photo only.
Output: 5 square (1080 x 1080) and 5 story (1080 x 1920), PNG.
Label any text that is placeholder copy.
Locked and free are the two lines that save the most fixing.
Complétez les trous
