Quick check
Guess first, no penalty. An AI tool tidies your end-of-shift notes into 3 lines. Which item has to make it into the summary, whatever else gets cut?
A handover is the note you leave for the next shift. An AI chat tool is an app that writes answers to what you type. You ask AI to tidy your notes, and the summary keeps the sales total but drops the pallet blocking a fire exit. Safety items and promises to customers have to survive the edit.
A handover summary with a missing line
Here are one worker's end-of-shift notes, with no customer names in them.
sales ok, approx 4.2k. winter boots came in, half on shelf, rest in back.
pallet blocking fire exit aisle 9, told Sam. blue coat size M on hold,
paid, customer collecting thurs. self checkout 3 keeps freezing on cards.

AI summary
Good day with sales around $4,200. Winter boots arrived and are partly on the shelf. Self-checkout 3 has card payment problems.
The AI's version reads well. It just left out the two lines that matter most: a safety risk and a promise to a customer who already paid. If the next shift misses either one, someone could trip over that pallet in an emergency, or a customer who already paid could walk out without the coat they came back for.
Fill the gaps
Fill the gaps so the two missing lines go back in.

Pallet blocking the : Sam knows, . Blue coat, size M, on hold and .

Your steps, about 2 minutes

- 2.Write your own 3-line rule for handovers, for example "safety first, promises second, sales last".1 min
