A sample plan for an office admin in a logistics team:
Skill 1, AI or spreadsheet: build a weekly report in Google Sheets with
formulas, a clean dashboard tab, and one AI step that summarizes changes.
Skill 2, people or process: own data quality for the intake form, run a
short weekly check with the two teams that send the data, and log errors.
Project to prove it: automate one weekly report and document how you check
it. Show the old manual steps, the new automated steps, and the check you
run before anyone uses the numbers.Notice the shape: one tool skill, one human skill, one piece of proof. That's easy to explain to a manager or in an interview. Proof matters most if you're 22 to 25, the age group finding these jobs a little less often.
