How a ticket moves, and checking the AI draft

Module 1: What AI already does in your job

Course outline

Quick check

Guess first, no penalty. Your help desk's AI suggests a reply to a customer. Who checks it before the customer sees it?

A help desk is the software where customer requests, called tickets, arrive. The tool and the agent do different jobs in the same flow.

Put it in order

Put a ticket's path in order.

  • 1.Ticket arrives
  • 2.Agent checks facts and tone
  • 3.AI tags and routes it
  • 4.AI suggests a reply
  • 5.Agent sends, or escalates

In this flow, a person checks every suggested reply before it reaches the customer.

A worked example

A customer writes: "I was charged twice this month and nobody has replied to my email from last week." The tool writes first. You fix the facts, the tone and the promise.

Before and after

Switch between the tool's draft and what the agent sent.
