Quick check
Guess first, no penalty. The drawing shows a 150 mm slab, and the specification says 200 mm. The pour is booked for next week. Which request gets an answer you can build on?
Ask one question, with the sources
An RFI (request for information) is a formal written question to the designer or client, sent when a drawing or specification is unclear. It's the record that says "we asked, and this is what we were told." Good ones quote both sources, ask one question and set a reply date.
A worked example
A prompt is the message you type to the AI. This one drafts the RFI from facts you give it:
Draft an RFI (request for information) to the designer, Ines Varga.
Subject: slab thickness at the pump house base.
Drawing S-04 shows 150 mm. Specification section 3.2 says 200 mm.
Question: which thickness applies?
Reply needed by: Tue 10 Nov, so the pour can be booked.
Use only these facts. Don't suggest an answer.
